Puckett High School is located in the southeastern corner of Rankin County. As part of the Rankin County School District, Puckett hosts a student population of approximately 345 in Seventh through Twelfth grade. The small student body guarantees a favorable student-teacher ratio and fosters a positive, caring relationship between younger and older students. Puckett is proud of its reputation as a school that cares for people. We are a co-educational school and we share with parents/caregivers a desire to achieve the very best for all of our students in all areas of endeavor. We strive to develop educated young people equipped with the skills, knowledge and attitudes to succeed in the 21st Century. We offer a balanced curriculum, excellent facilities and a dedicated and skillful teaching staff. We recognize that students learn in different ways and at their own pace, so our curriculum is designed to allow each individual to succeed and reach their potential. We are all proud of the achievements of our pupils and staff and we value this opportunity to share and celebrate their achievements.
