Career Info & College Research
College and Career Resource is designed to prepare PHS students in enhancing the skills and tools necessary to become successful in the world after high school. According to the Partnership for 21st Century Skills, abilities that students should possess to prepare for college and/or the global workplace are: core subject and 21st Century themes (including curricular and civic literacy), learning and innovation skills (including problem solving and critical thinking), information and technology skills (including media and technology literacy), and life and career skills (including accountability, initiative, adaptability, and flexibility). The primary focus of the Senior Project is research in a particular topic of career interest, culminating in the production of a written research paper and accompanying presentation.
